Programs
Our projects can be organized into four groups: relief, capacity building, construction, and child development. Relationships with orphanages typically begin with immediate relief to address critical needs such as a food shortage, outbreak of disease, or a leaky roof. In working with the orphanage director through the relief program, we build a foundation of trust upon which we can then get involved with more in-depth, long-term programs. Our emphasis across all our programs is to empower orphanage directors to take much better care of children, and ultimately to be self-sufficient.
