New Vehicles!

We have had alot of excitement around the team house over the past few weeks. A few weeks ago, we became the proud owners of a new 1.5 ton flatbed Jac truck! We did not waste any time and the truck was immediately put to work.  Every day, Matt and his construction crew have used the truck for transportation and to haul construction supplies up to Cotton Tree to the Gold Child Orphanage worksite. It really is a blessing, because otherwise we would not be able to continue the roof construction on the new home.

And then last week, we added another vehicle to the ORR fleet, as we like to call it now. After a few days of delay, Andrew drove a brand new Ford Ranger, crew cab pickup truck off the lot. We marveled at the ‘new car smell’ and the kids at all of the orphanages have taken notice of our ‘new, bright pickup.’ Both trucks were made possible by generous donations--thank you! It’s amazing to think that one year ago, we had seven people sharing one station wagon that couldn't really leave the paved roads. Today, we have three additional vehicles that can maneuver just about anywhere! We had been praying for just one new vehicle, and God has blessed us with three. What an answer to prayer!
