Ludo and Bible Study

Ludo (commonly called ‘parcheesi’) is an extremely popular board game here in Liberia. The older boys at Fatu’s orphanage play it constantly. These past few weeks, I’ve taken the time to learn the game and play with them. As they beat me, the boys always "lecture" me about life, politics, and football. Just recently we’ve expanded into subjects like God, the Bible, and church.

After talking with the boys about it, we have decided to start the very first ‘Ludo and Bible Study’ next week. Jesse, a bright 16 year old shows a lot of excitement about the Bible study. This will be a great way to talk about God’s Word and how it relates to our lives in a safe, informal environment. This is a great way to affirm these boys and give them the attention they need and crave.
